Samantha Steed holds a Diploma in Transformational Coaching and is a member of the European Mentoring Coaching Council. She is a professional leadership coach with an in depth understanding of human dynamics.

What is Transformational Coaching?
When we describe something as ‘transformational’ we are talking about something that produces a significant change in our performance and outlook.
Transformational coaching is a way of working with a client that moves beyond the surface of the presenting topic.
It enables people to have a different relationship with themselves in how they see, think, feel, and behave in situations as well as in their interactions with others.

We recognise that international and independent schools are businesses and effective leaders must distinguish business operations from ever-present human dynamics (which can undermine these operations). No matter what role we find ourselves in, we are constantly busy, reacting to the day’s events, and feeling under pressure to perform and achieve good results. Coaching with Steed Education enables clear, effective, and rapid change to processes and procedures. This results in a healthier and happier school.
How Do We Work?
Teacher Workshops:
Let us create a tailor-made workshop or a series of workshops to introduce your teaching team to the transformational coaching culture. An essential goal of these workshops is to build a community of coaching practitioners in support of one another. We will transform the way teachers think and work enabling them to become empowered, resilient, flexible, and motivated. We have found that teacher workshops work best when delivered in person.
Team Coaching:
These programmes are flexible allowing a smaller team of senior leaders or department heads to set the direction. A series of six sessions can be arranged spanning an academic year or as a short-term cluster. Click here for the programme overview.
Leadership Coaching:
We believe long-term, sustainable change occurs when an individual looks at a challenge or situation with a different mindset. Transformational coaching with Steed Education will support you as you transform the way you think, work, and troubleshoot to drive every aspect of school and personal improvement. Clients work with a transformational coach at their own pace through a series of one-to-one sessions either in person or on-line.
Coaching can be delivered both face to face or through video-conferencing.
