EdCrunch

EdCrunch

Mark Steed will be attending the EdCrunch conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Founded in 2014, EdCrunch is Europe’s largest conference on new educational technologies.

Mark will be part of a three panel discussions at the event:

  1. The Digital environment of schools: a view through the innovation glasses:
In this discussion, we will dive into the world of modern school management tools. Let's consider how digitalization affects the management of educational institutions, including electronic diaries, textbooks and other innovative approaches. Let's discover the prospects, advantages and challenges that accompany modern educational management in the digital age.

  2. The Race for results v. happy students.
The race for performance creates stress and competition, which negatively affects the emotional state of students. Satisfied students are more motivated to study subjects independently and further their education. Modern assessment systems should stimulate the development of students' self-assessment and self-reflection skills, and not just test knowledge. What is the ideal assessment system?

  3. How to teach teachers to use modern technology.
Mark will be moderating this discussion
